About

I grew up on a small farm in Kansas and now live in Maine with my wife, Cindy.  We have been married for over 35 years and have a son, I have two other sons living in Kansas.  For many years my spiritual life was lived more under my own power than living by faith in Christ alone.  since deciding to have a deeper walk with Christ I have had many strugles and whatch him move in many ways.  It seems that when one obstacle would be in my life God would take care of it.  He has given me many promises throughout my life, some of which I thought would never come to pass, and they have come to pass.  God has more promises for me that are yet to be and I look forward to weeing them fulfilled.

What I am writing are thoughts that I believe will help us be more Christ like.  Over the years I have seen many great Christians, who I thought were Christ like, say they are still growing in their faith.  Scripture tells us never stop growing in our faith until we see Jesus face to face.  This is to say thank you to all those who have helped me grow in my faith and to encourage others to keep on growing.

For now my ministries include running our t.v. ministry, sharing Christ with those in a retirement home, and blogging.

  1. Very nice.

  2. Thanks Dwaine,

    Great post.

I like your in-depth writing (mostly Scripture – which is wonderful) and the provocation to meditation…wonderful.

Also I like the online reference you use and will use it along with ones I use now. Keep up the great work in the Lord.
